How long does it take for a refund to appear on a credit card?
We refund all deposits in the next few days after the festival.
Once the transaction was received by your credit card company, you will receive a credit to your credit card account.
Generally, it takes 5 to 14 business days before you see the amount of the transaction appear in your bank account, although the exact time frame depends on your credit card issuer.
The transaction will appear on your credit card's monthly statement within one or two billing cycles. This time frame depends on a few factors:
- If payment for your reservation and our refund of your deposit occur during the same billing cycle, the deposit may have already been deducted from the bill you receive from your credit card issuer.
- However, if the billing cycle ends before our refund of the deposit has arrived, the balance on your statement may remain unchanged. This means the security deposit refund will not appear on that month's statement. If you paid off the entire balance on your credit card before receiving the refund, the statement on your credit card may also appear as a negative balance. Now the lender owes you this amount. Don't worry, you can continue to use the card and have your payments for future purchases reduced by the balance.
