Can you receive your refund on a different card number?

During your reservation, we checked that your credit or debit card information was up to date, verified that your card was active, and then processed the payment from the bank or credit card company.
To prevent errors or fraud, refunds can only be made to the account number of the original credit or debit card you used during the reservation process. 

What if the credit or debit card used no longer exists?

If your new card was issued by the same bank then the new account number will automatically be used to transfer the amount. 

In case a refund of your security deposit would fail, we will receive a message from the financial institution that issued the lost card.
They will send us your new account number, if not we will contact you. However, this process takes some time and can take weeks or even months.
